Macau - Now and 1960
The "new" Macau, as of ten years ago! The Macau Grand Prix is coming up. It's going to be crazy with the small streets and other obstacles!
Teams from many countries around the world compete in a fireworks tournament here every September-October. Unfortunately, I only got to see these fireworks from the streets between the apartment buildings since the exact times of the fireworks were in question (Portuguese and Chinese are equally different from English, don't-cha-know).
Old Macau, China. The year is 1960. The Portuguese still stroll the old fort atop the hill, and the rickshaws still crowd the streets. That was indeed a different world! A better world? A more peaceful world? Only time will tell... enjoy!

Nice! Macau is supposed to be a paradise for young people I guess, with all that entertainments and restaurants!! Somehow I enjoyed watching the video on the old Macau better. May be because I am not a young guy anymore and I associate with that era better. Thanks for sharing.
