Christmas is nearly here!

Yes, indeed! And even in Macau we've encountered our spate of cold weather! Several days ago, the weather suddenly turned cold - what seemed like 35 degrees F in the wind. After sitting for a day shivering in my sweatshirt, I headed over to Senado Square to pick up something warmer. In the end, I was quite happy I did. After turning down a MOP 400 Levi sweatshirt, I picked up a nice fleece jacket for MOP 190. Honestly, I didn't really want Levi's name brand, believe it or not.

This weekend is now a two-day weekend! On Monday, Macau will celebrate its "Establishment Day" (i.e. "independence" day from Portuguese authority). It's a mandatory holiday for all companies operating in Macau! I'll be celebrating that day as well - in Hong Kong! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
